Wavertree was where one grandmother lived! I remember houses like Coronation Street, and broken glass set into the tops of the walls around each house. Otherwise it was Woolton - t'other grandmother. I remember Penny Lane (immortalised by the Beatles) and The Mystery - that wonderful park. Oh, and the Mersey Tunnel, of course!!!!!!

Community, isn't it? That's what's often missing from modern-day life, especially in the city. People go their own ways and don't help each other. It's all too superficial.

aww is it like that there in berlin? here i'd say its kinda like that, but i would imagin new york would be even worse. but so far since i've been living here everyone i meet is very nice.

New York sounds so romantic. Sigh.

some parts.....other parts too many ppl....and crowded...new york is kind of like the other board and this one put together.

 

some, parts like the city, can be too crowded and ppl can be bitchy....especially while your on the road driving.

and other parts are just so nice and the people are so friendly. thats mostly outside the city.

I don't know anyone there - it just sounds like a great place to visit. All the movies you see, etc.

New York is just pure magical! The atmosphere, the architecture, everything!!! And my singer (Richie) lives there... Need I say more?! Guess not... 8)
