Apparently the first part of the song (the bit with Jonny and Chris) was called 'School' and was originally the intro to 'Rainy Day'. The first bit (I think) was written eight months apart from the last bit.

yeah i knew about the 'School' thing, but i didn't know about the 'Rainy Day' bit...

 

that's understandable though. because the lines "so come over, just be patient" and "i love when you come over to my house" go together.

 

i wish i had ALL the bits and songs they recorded for this album lol.
