coldplay song "december"

i watched a coldplay video today on youtube its old its about johnny getting into jazz back in the parachutes era it was a joke and i noticed chris showing a list of new songs "green eyes and december were at the bottom by any chance could this song be violet hill! i dunno randomness i know lol

well i remember in some interview chris saying that the first line of the song (was a long and dark december) was one of the first lines the ever wrote way back in 1998 or something and then they brought it back and wrote the rest of the song for VlV. he said something like 1% of the song was written 10 years ago and the other 99% was written this year. so its very likely that they were thinking about it around that time...

Yeah, they did write it very early. I also remember Chris saying when they were trying to put the band together they read that line to Guy and he's like "Ok now I'm definitely joining.":lol:

i remember what BostonSportsTD has said, so it wouldn't surprise me if coldplay get to say that VLV album is only their old material that they had happened to rescue for the album...

 

but at this point i remember that for X&Y they say they had a lot of lyrics and they destroyed what they didn't released on the album so it's a bit strange that.

 

 

and seeing it like that, i don't see the point when some coldplayers gets mad about song titles, see they change them so... i mean i remember i had seen on an old site, back in pre-AROBTTH era that they had listed the possible song titles to next album and at least one or two songs happened to have a different title of the final one that appeared on the album..
