Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts has accused Radio One DJ Chris Moyles of bullying her after he constantly criticised her on air.

Nicola told heat magazine: 'This argument doesn’t bother me any more. I’ve grown out of it – it’s six years old.

'His obsession with me needs to stop. I don’t care what he says about me, but what bothers me is that there are loads of people being bullied for the way they look or act – they are made to feel s*** about themselves because they don’t conform to how society wants them to be.

Nicola Roberts has condemned Chris Moyles' comments about her on his Radio 1 show, in which he called her 'horsey chops'

'I have bright red hair, pale skin and, yeah, I can be quite shy, but that doesn’t mean I’m rude or miserable. I’m growing up, I’m learning and I’m slowly becoming more confident.'

The feud started in 2002 when the controversial DJ declared that he 'fancied all of them, apart from the ginger one.'

But last week, Chris heated things up a notch on his show when, despite saying he wanted to patch things up with Nicola, he said of the singer: 'What’s with the long face, horsey chops? Give us a smile.'

Nicola’s best friend and fellow band member Cheryl Cole has also waded into the row, saying: 'I can’t listen to Chris Moyles on the radio any more.

'I find what he says about my friend really offensive and upsetting.'
