Sexless man 'shot himself in arm'

A man shot himself in the arm after his girlfriend refused to have sex with him.

 

The 29-year-old from Fort Myers turned a gun on himself after becoming irate that his partner was not interested in his advances.

 

According to authorities, the man fired twice at his arm after his girlfriend went to stay in the spare room. He then threatened her and knocked himself unconscious by falling into the kitchen oven.

 

The man, who was treated for the wounds before he was taken to jail, was then held on bail and has been hit with charges of threatening violence and firing a weapon in an occupied dwelling.
