hey guys... i'm a HUGE coldplay fan... but i think the next big group is the flobots. they have a more hip-hop edge along with a violonist and trumpet player. i haven't heard of a sound like them in a while. and their lyrics are amazing. their newest single "rise" talks about what's going on in the world. their first single "handlebars" was on the radio. if you haven't heard them, here's the link for their video "rise"

I youtubed the Flobots, and I found a cool video of them explaining why you should vote (for Rock the Vote). Anyway, the main guy (I think it's the main guy from hearing handlebars) sounds really smart, and has a lot of good reasons to vote:

Dude, this is one of the sickest hip hop acts out there. I saw the video you posted at the Rock the Vote website, and so I figured it wouldn't hurt to find out what their music was actually like since I dug their message. I found [ame=http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=H0XmsUlz2hI]this[/ame] video of their second single, "Rise", and it is f*cking awesome. They aren't kidding around with their politics, that's for sure.

Yeah, that is an incredible song, and really powerful message. No wonder these guys are sponsoring rock the vote!
