RULES COLDPLAY TICKET GIVEAWAY

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

JUNE 24, 2008

 

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a. THE COLDPLAY TICKET GIVEAWAY contest will begin on June 24, 2008 and end on November 14, 2008.

b. To participate in the contest, contestants must visit the 105.5 JACK FM website at http://www.1055jackfm.com and click on WIN and register for this contest.

c. KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

d. Limitations on type or number of entries: One entry per email address.

 

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

a. The contest is open to all KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in Colorado. Employees of KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM, its licensee, its corporate parent NRC Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, employees of other radio stations in the Denver metro area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b. Listeners/households are eligible to win a KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM contest only once every 30 days and a prize valued at $600 or more only one per calendar year.

c. To enter on-line you must enter your first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the on-line entry form. One Internet entry per person and one entry per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made the authorized account holder of the email address and submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

 

3. Prizes:

a. Prize description: A pair of tickets to the COLDPLAY concert at PEPSI CENTER on November 21, 2008. 3 pairs of tickets will be awarded.

b. All prizes or prize certificates must be picked up at the office of KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM, 1201 18th Street Ste. 200, Denver, CO 80202 during normal business hours before November 21, 2008 at 3pm. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 30 days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize of prize certificate.

c. Contest prizes are non-transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM reserves the right to substitute a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value.

 

4. Selection of Winners:

a. Decisions of KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Grand prize winners will be selected by November 14, 2008.

c. Grand prize winners will be selected by random drawing method.

d. Winner will be notified by phone, if any of the winners can not be reached by phone in 3 business days, another winner will be selected and the same process repeated until all winners have been contacted.

5. Conditions:

a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM, its corporate licensee, its parent corporation NRC Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agates and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.

d. For Internet contests: KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures or any sort.

e. KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

f. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.

g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM.

h. KJAC-105.5 JACK-FM is not responsible for typographical or other errors in printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
