Lol what's wrong with nude people?

Nothing is wrong with nude people. We're all born that way, aren't we? But animals are nude all the time...how indecent!

Chapter 10

Told partly in 3rd person.

“Jon.” said Will, leaving no room for pleasantries. Jonny shifted the phone against his ear, frowning.

“What is it?”

“What’s wrong with Guy?”

“I told you, it’s his decision to tell you or not. I’m going to respect his wishes, Will.”

“Because he told me…that he’d been…raped.” murmured the drummer. Jonny was silent. So Guy had decided to tell him? What had made him change his mind?

“Then why are you calling me asking what’s wrong? He told you.” I pointed out, thoroughly confused.

“No…No, that can’t be true.” Will sounded desperate.

“Fuck, you don’t believe him? Why the hell would he lie to you? Why would he make something like that up, Will?” Jonny was becoming angry at his friend for being so thick.

“But…he…”

“Christ…where is he now?”

“I don’t know.” Will admitted. “I left his flat.”

“Wait, then…when did he tell you?”

“A few minutes ago.”

Jonny felt his stomach flip. “Oh my god. And you left? What did you say?” he cried.

“I said I didn’t believe him.” Will whispered.

“Oh, Jesus…no.” Jonny hung up the phone without saying anything else, then quickly dialed Chris’s number. “Pick up, pick up, pick up…”

“Hey, J.”

“Chris! Chris, you’re still at the café, right?”

“Uh, yeah…I was just leaving, why? You wanted to come?”

“No, no…listen to me. Guy’s place is about a minute from there, right?”

“Yeah, it is…right down the street. You wanna visit him?”

“No. I need you to. I need you to check on him…Will and he had a row, he might be pretty upset. And you know he hasn’t been doing that well lately…”

“What? Is he okay?” Chris’s voice was tight with worry.

“Just go check…please?”

“Yeah, yeah sure. I’ll see you, J.” He hung up, and Jonny was left alone with his fear. His cell phone rang after a minute; it was Will calling back. He ignored it.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………...........

Chris didn’t know why Jonny sounded so worried, so he decided to run. But he had to take a moment to remember the number of Guy’s flat, since the man spent so little time there. He spotted Will on the way, seated on the curb with his head in his hands. “Man! Hey, what’s going on?” asked Chris breathlessly. “Is Guy okay?”

“God…what? Chris?” his voice was raspy.

“Never mind, I’ve got to go.” muttered Chris, running past him. He pulled out the extra key he had on his ring and used it to let himself into the building. He reached the first floor stairwell and skidded to a halt. Guy’s slender form was curled into a little ball by the landing. “Oh, shit…” he hissed.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………...

“Go away, man.” I murmured. “Just go away.”

“No. Not gonna happen. Jonny told me to make sure you were okay. What’s wrong? What did Will do?”

“He didn’t do anything. It’s my fault.”

“Why?”

I shook and raised my head, risking a glance at Chris. “I t-told him the truth.” I said, my voice breaking. “Now he hates me.”

“Aw, shit, mate.” muttered Chris, moving up to sit next to me. I leaned more in the other direction.

“Just…leave me alone.” I choked out. I could feel tears beginning to fall.

“Mate, what’s going on?” asked Chris gently, struggling to keep calm. “You can tell me, you know I won’t judge you or anything.”

I groaned and shook my head. “I can’t be sure.”

“I promise I won’t.”

“Oh, Chris…Chris.” I whispered, smiling bitterly. “You really want to know.”

“Yeah, man, I do. When something is eating away at my friend like this I want to know what it is.” I was touched by how sincere he sounded. But that was practically the same thing that Will had said, and he’d run away from me. But I figured since the rest of the band already knew, I really had nothing to lose.

“Remember this?” I asked, pulling my shirt collar down so he could see my shoulder. He nodded slowly. “Eddie…that night at the party…he, well…I was…raped. But I don’t remember it…he must’ve put something in my drink. I woke up the next morning, and…something was just wrong, you know? My clothes…my clothes were all over the floor and I couldn’t remember anything…Jonny said I must have had sex with some girl, but I just couldn’t remember. And then…I, um, went to take a shower and there was, like, a disk with a video on it…of him…actually…I went to the hospital, and when I came back Jonny was asking what was wrong…so I showed him the video. He took me back to his house…I told him not to tell anyone, it’s my fault…”

“S-Stop. Just…wait.” whispered Chris. “Eddie…did this to you? You were really…?”

I nodded, waiting for him to explode at me like Will had. But it never happened. “Oh my god.” he whispered, his face deathly pale. “Oh my god. These two days, you’ve been living with this…and I had no idea. I didn’t know.”

“I didn’t want you to know.”

“Why…not? I could have…done something.” Poor Chris, he always believed he could have done something differently. “Oh, Guy.” he whispered. “I’m sorry.”

“Will…he walked out…”

“He was still here. Outside.” Chris said carefully. I looked up into his eyes, shocked. I knew he was telling the truth, but I couldn’t quite believe Will had suddenly changed his mind about me. “He looked upset.”

“But...he didn’t believe me. I hit him, he’s angry with me…”

“He was there when I was, I promise. Do you want me to, um, get him?”

“No!” I cried, clutching his arm. “No, I don’t want to see him!”

Chris’s eyes were beginning to tear up. “No, my god, this can’t be happening…” he paused. “And Jonny knows…? Everything?” I nodded.

“He took me back to get my test results.”

“Test results…” Chris repeated weakly. “Were they good?”

“Yeah; fine.”

“Are you okay?”

“I’ll be fine.”

Chris was silent, although I knew he wanted to scream.

Thinking about that...... if that could be possible I'm sure I'd be in art class the whole day!!!
