Croatian for familia is obitelj. Even though we say familia too. But only where I live, Italy had this part of Croatia until the end of world war 2. So we have lots of Italian words.

 

And (shamefully) I know a bit of Spanish, cuz until I was 14 I watched almost 10 mexican soaps so I learned it by watching TV. :laugh3:

Sure I do. Marisol, Esmeralda, Usurpadora or something like that. Gabriela Spanic played the part in lots of them. Her parents are Croatian so she was huge star here. (something like Coldplay:P:P:P, Im kidding).

And Esmeralda was blind so there were old women in Croatia who payed for mass in church to get her to see. :\:\:\:\
