bjaiken
Just wanted to let everyone know that tonight and tomorrow the radio station KROQ is putting on their annual Almost Acoustic Christmas. For those of you who are interested, they stream a live webcast of the performance. Just go to: http://www.kroq.com They have a place where you can test out the media player to make sure that you are up to speed. You don't want to be scrambling when an artist you like is up.

I doesn't get much better than that :) Last night, I liked STP and AFI.
deaths_friend
well so far we've had vampire weekend and snow patrol with scott weiland finishing off now Vampire Weekend- lacked energy had no charisma, their music came across as being dull and nothing next to what they sound like on their half decent debut album. very dissapointed Snow Patrol - these guys are great on their day. and luckily today despite poor sound they put on a great performance. Gary's voice was in great form and the band did a decent job in their situation Scott Weiland - his voice is no where near as powerful as it was 10 years but i wont hold that against him. over the last two nights his come across as a rather emotional performer. he feels ever song and u can see that in his delivery. i like this guy despite of his history with drugs and alcohol and paying out on his bands Franz Ferdinand coming on now. I liked Snow Patrol. Scott Weiland I had already seen live and was not interested. Sadly, I think he will die soon (he's just too hard on himself). I have not been exposed enough to Franz Ferdinand. deaths_friend
Paramore: not really a fan of the band but they did a decent job. the singer was very open to the crowd and her bandmates were confident with thier instruments Death Cab for Cutie: best performance of the night so far. despite being a soft indie rock band. they put alot of passion into the show. ben gibbard was solid with his vocals but the bass player was my favourite the killers on now
