I didn't even realise she had covered this song until I saw this thread, so I went and listened to it....and yeah, not good!

It's by no means any good but considering it could've been a lot worse!!!

i generally dont really like female vocalists, especially when they seem to shout rather than sing... kind of like leona lewis ..

I like far more male vocalists than female ones, but I do like Dido, Duffy and Amy McDonald (who I'm seeing live in February), and a number of soul singers from the past, including Aretha (the best ever), Anita Baker and Randy Crawford.;)

I think she has got an amazing voice, but it sounds dead whiny sometimes!

Snow Patrol's version was an understated gem, and that was the beauty of it. Leona Lewis has killed it with her OTT warbling :angry:
