Yes - by about 2050, I reckon!!:P

Hopefully I won't witness that anymore ;)

And hopefully nobody will witness her attempting to sing any more!!:P

happy new year, everyone!

its snowing nicely here, but i'll have to dig out my car to get to a party tonight. i can't believe that it's already 2009 in australia! :freak:

i don't really have any concrete resolutions in mind...i more just have a lot of hopes for what next year is going to be. 2008 was both the best and the worst year i've ever had, so i don't even know where to go from there :P.

i hope everyone has a good night! :nice:

Well I was supposed to go to a party with my best friends and hang out with them and some of their relatives, but I'm terribly sick and am probably going to miss it. I feel horrible today and I feel even worse that it means I won't get to ring in the New Year with my best friends.:\

But I am sure all of you will have Happy New Years!!:D

P.S. Don't drink too much until the food comes, you'll get wasted early.

WOW is it 2009 already in Australia?

Yep and in New Zealand.

Happy new year to you all.

My resolutions are:

To stop clicking my knuckles.

To stop biting and picking my nails and skin.

To stop muttering, repeating and keeping on about stuff.

To become a lot more patient and stop the impulsive spending.

I also need to go on a diet as I've been going overboard on the coke and chocolate.

I think you could sum up your resolution by saying you want to become sane.

Awww ... speedy recovery to everyone who's currently sick, ill or not well-being. :smug:

Don't worry, 2009 is just a number ... ;)

There's plenty of chances to party in 2009, you don't have to do it on the 31st/1st straight ;)

Well im stuck at home doing nothing because all of my so called friends have let me down. I tried to make an effort and organise things but they don't bother because they already have things planned. Ive not been invited to a single party or anything. :(

Oh geez what cheek lol. I'm not insane. I just have some bad habits that I need to lose.

Aww ... *raises glass* ... you're not alone ;)

Maybe we should start another thread for everyone who's left home alone ;)

I will be staying at home with a bottle of red wine as well simply because I really don't want to party this year.

I'm not so much into festivities which happen at the flick of a switch, if you get what I mean :)

Lol I shall party here indeed although its not the same as real life. But thanks for the comment I really appreciate it I feel a little better now. :)

I can see where you're coming from, I mean, it must be extremely frustrating at your age to stay at home on such a day - when everyone else is out and about and partying hard.

Just see the bright side of it :wink3: :

Tomorrow, you're probably the only one amongst your friends who won't suffer from a bad headache and sickness because of an overdose of alcoholic drinks ;) :laugh3:

Yeah you do have a good point there. At least the new year gives me a chance to change things. Next year I shall do things differently.

The event I wanted to go to (Hed Kandi at Indigo2) was too expensive. I probably would have headed to the Embankment for the fireworks if Mari had been going.

I don't have a car this evening so my options were very limited anyway.

It isn't such a big deal, really....................................... ;)

Don't worry about it. You won't be the only one by a long way. People are far too obsessed with specific "dates" anyway. I have events to look forward to in the coming weeks such as Oasis and Keane, for example.

I can wait till then.;)
