The event I wanted to go to (Hed Kandi at Indigo2) was too expensive. I probably would have headed to the Embankment for the fireworks if Mari had been going.

I don't have a car this evening so my options were very limited anyway.

Fair enough really. I would have gone to the Embankment if it wasn't for this freezing cold weather. Im just finding staying in difficult to deal with because everyone I know is out partying and having fun. My parents idea of fun is completely different to mine.

Don't worry about it. You won't be the only one by a long way. People are far too obsessed with specific "dates" anyway. I have events to look forward to in the coming weeks such as Oasis and Keane, for example.

it seems the traditions are different in every place

 

here everybody does something and it's not thaaaat expensive at all... if you want to go to an expensive party you can do it, but there are also celebrations and fireworks in more than 10 places of the city so people can go there :D.. since it's summer, it's really nice to go outside and see the fireworks

 

most of the people celebrates with the family and most of the people of my age goes to parties (I don't know yet what I will do :bigcry: ) .. anyway I've got 6 hours to think about that :P
