August 3, 200322 yr Right ok...... i had my uni results back the other day, and i cannot continue on my current degree. so options i am considering are --- Redo the entire year on Criminology and law (my current degree) --- Change my degree and start afresh --- Drop the law side (the one i failed) and take another subject part time for 1 year then pick up a full time degree again so that my criminology (which i passed) would finish the same time as the new half of my degree (so it would be say social policy and criminology) --- Drop uni all together and get a job with a career plan --- Drop uin all together and move away from birmingham and get a job with a career plan maybe else where in the country --- Drop uni, work in a job for say 6/7 months and save some moeny, and then head off abroad to look for a career there (my idea is USA). anyways, i'm kinda leaning towards the move to ua options, i'ts something i've always wanted. How-ever, I also had my desire to do uni and complte it, and have promised someone i would (who now is dead so it kinda makes me feel guilty that i am thinking of dropping). But i know if i fail again, i'll be less liekly to find a good job and possible career because of my age will be that bit older than the rest who would be looking for the type of jobs i can get. But then i also think what point has my life served by going to uni if i don't finish it... aaaanyways..... just wondered what some of you though, might do in the same situation. Might help me see things from a different light you see eeeks now i've gone and asked for advice...how conformist of me and erm..yeah howdy y'all...hewwwwwwoo Sweet one ;) *huggles you*
August 3, 200322 yr eeehhh i really couldn't tell you what to do! the best decision maker for your life is you darling. hope the right choice comes to you. i know that my friend currenty dropped out of his program and is taking this year off to work and think about what he wants to do for sure. that's probably what i would do to.
August 3, 200322 yr This sounds good to me: --- Drop the law side (the one i failed) and take another subject part time for 1 year then pick up a full time degree again so that my criminology (which i passed) would finish the same time as the new half of my degree (so it would be say social policy and criminology) Unless you are no longer interested in persuring the schooling, than go the route of job/travel. It's up to you of course. I'm in uni too, it can be a drag sometimes.
August 3, 200322 yr stay in Uni and start a new course I guess. You might find it more interesting to start something different That could be expensive though. If you've REALLY had enough of uni just get a job :)
