what is chris martin's religious leanings?

Featured Replies

I don't know if he has any. He said he believes in Zeus but that was obviously a joke.

I think I read somewhere that his Mum is Catholic. He said he isn't, but he believes in God

Chris was raised in a strong catholic environment but he's not an active catholic anymore

Isn't this the 3rd or 4th thread about Chris Martin and religion? Probably all because of Viva la Vida...

Chris was raised in the Anglican Communion which makes his background Protestant

He jokes about it a lot, but seriously he does believe in some sort of God. But his actual background is protestant I believe.

He talks about it in Rolling Stones. When he was a kid everything was very strict because of his religion.

Oh, I'm sure of that. *scowl*

the church of CM will know!

Haha.

That website seriously freaks me out.

But I often wonder the same thing.

If I ever got the chance to ask him questions, or just have a real converstaion I would ask him about GPASOMF, and Viva, and just about religion in general.

I think it would make for a good converstaion.

" God was in his garden but his heart wasn't open...not open."

The Church of Chris Martin site freaks me out as well.
