January 24, 200917 yr Question, is there any indication that they'll put Lhuna on the new album? I have a gut feeling that they will. Don't think they will, as they gave it to RED(WIRE) charity. Kinda sucks because I was hoping for a vid, but then again it's for a good cause.
January 24, 200917 yr Don't think they will, as they gave it to RED(WIRE) charity. Kinda sucks because I was hoping for a vid, but then again it's for a good cause. It was an exclusive for subscribers only right? So I dunno if it's out of the question. We just got to sit and wait....which is the hardest part.
January 24, 200917 yr Pitchfork loves their coldplay :PYeah... my word, they gave the LiTii video an entirely positive review! :shocked2: I think hell just froze over. Either that or they're going soft...
January 24, 200917 yr Good news!! Poor Brian :( If we knew that we would send him a postcard too :laugh3:
January 24, 200917 yr Author Coldplay Back In the Studio With Eno Once Again After much commercial success with Coldplay’s fourth studio album, Viva la Vida, it sounds like Brian Eno will be heading back into the studio to collaborate with the British foursome once more. Or is that sound a tweet. Eno recently wrapped up work on U2’s new album, No Line On The Horizon, and will be joining Coldplay in the studio before they galavant off to Tokyo in February for the start of their world tour. Though Eno received some slack for his last go with Coldplay, fans and critics most likely won’t be crying this time around, after the news of Coldplay’s seven Grammy nominations and 4 BRIT nominations for their work with Eno on Viva. In total, Coldplay has received four Grammys to date, including Record Of The Year in 2004 for Clocks. Perhaps the Eno-magic will help rocket U2 to such success with their new album as well. http://www.thetripwire.com/news/2009/01/23/coldplay-back-in-the-studio-with-eno-once-again/

January 25, 200917 yr I'm excited but then i get this feeling of a long dark absence from them If that's the case, let's hope the dark side isn't involved!!:stunned:
January 25, 200917 yr but they might come back to studio to drink beer, there is no information that band would write new songs. Let's hope!
January 29, 200917 yr ehhh i'm not too psyched about this. i'm definately happy theyre already recording again but i don't know how i feel about them doing another album with eno. sure, viva la vida was alright but i think it had too many upbeat songs and overall the lyrics just lacked emotion because they were trying to do so much with the music. overall i think it's a good piece to coldplay's discography but i just don't want a repeat of it. i want to see more of a return to their darker lyrics or a more natural, AROBTTH esque sound.
