What do you know? you're italian! :P

Just kidding! I was exaggerating a bit, but still most fast-food joints and some southern style restaurants like sonny's (which I used to work for in catering) rarely serve hot tea. But if you go to a half decent restaurant, then sure you can get all the hot tea you like.

but sonny, mcdonalds, vips, applebees etc are commercial restaurants :dozey:

duh

I meant restaurants with commercial food,

well

ok that's sort of a plyonasm but you get what i mean right?

insulin and other stuff I don't remember :P

Yeah that's diabetes but you can't get it just by drinking tea with sugar  there must be hell of a lot other things wrong with your life style and eating habits if you get type 2 diabetes. "the other" diabetes is a different story though

LOL. Sorry, I gave you the complete wrong impression. I was referring to restaurants and food joints in the south. Nobody around here ever drinks hot tea, just iced tea. It's so common that if you ask for "tea" somewhere it usually comes in a pitcher like lemonade. You have to specify otherwise, and even then, many places don't even serve hot tea.

Haha i see. Silly people, hot tea is the way to go! there's nothing wrong with ice tea though (well at least not with the taste, i don't even want to mention how much sugar they put in it..)

 i have no idea where you get all these "facts".

I don't think it makes a big difference at all if you drink tea after your meals or not.

Bah, i didn't want this thread turn into a whole "this is healthy, this is not" conversation.

Ah well, can't have everything.

ok I'll stop everything and say, I don't like tea, I hate hot and cold water

Random question: do you leave the tea bag into the water while you drink it??

I so don't..the tea becomes way too bitter
