i suppose that most of our emotions are based on the amount of effort we have to make and the amount of distraction... like pain is really just a distraction from consciousness/concentration. the brain is saying AHHHHHHHHHH LOOK OVER HERE like at your toe or head or something that hurts. but with emotions such as love, a person who wants material things doesn't want to experience their own thoughts, they want to be distracted by that thing. we love people, because they distract us from our own brain. is this getting too random?
