I had a really, really weird dream last night.

 

I had entered a contest or something (or that was the assumption I had, I don't really remember entering it or anything like that) and ended up winning a telephone conversation with Chris Martin. So the phone rang at about midnight, right after I fell asleep, and I got up, and it was Chris, and he said a couple of things and there were a bunch of really long silences and I was sort of getting weirded out because I thought he would be nice and talk to me and stuff, and then he hung up the phone, and I was like "OHNOES" and then in the back of my mind I realized I was REALLY FREAKING THIRSTY AND I NEEDED TO WAKE UP SOON and then I was like, "but I want this dream to have a happy ending!" so I made the phone ring again and it was Chris calling like I hoped it was and he said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I had a really important phone call from Hannah," and then there was this weird "narrator" voice in my head that went "AND THEN HE EXPLAINED ABOUT HANNAH AND ALL THE GREAT WAYS SHE HAD HELPED THE BAND" and the whole ending of it was really rushed because I was super thirsty and I needed to get up to go do that thirst-slaking stuff etc. and then as soon as I was satisfied that my dream had a happy ending I got up in a half-awake haze, got some water, then lay back in bed, still not fully awake, imagining how the rest of the conversation would've gone, until I was like "I REALLY need to go back to sleep, I have a swim meet tomorrow afternoon" etc etc.

OH, AND I kept thinking in the dream I should ask Chris to make up a song a la Shrimp & Aubergine / the Liquid Amber Song, but my subconcious couldn't think of any rhymes quickly enough so that idea failed :disappointed:
