Bubblehead isn't really irish...

No like Martina (Lil'Eskimo) and Liga :)

Liga and Li'l Eskimo! They just had to go and sound foreign haha.

They're funky divas, they only make appearances when the red and yellow carpet is out

OMG! The gladiators ramp?! :stunned:

Contestant READY?

Gladiators READY?

(warning, should not be tried at home unless you have a genuine scottish accent. May prove hazzardous otherwise)

Bonnie lasshy.

What was his name?...John...something :idea2:

Oh well done master sanchez!! :P

Oh I've always wondered this, do you guys (in NI) have to learn Irish? I know the answer is more than likely no, but do you have an option? :idea2:

Actually we do HAVE to. But thats because Im a shade off the REAL northern Ireland, everyone here is Catholic and I live 3 miles from the border.

20 miles up north and its not much of an option.

I was at the Gaelteach in Donegal like 3 years ago, whooo!

I'm not le irish!

imma irish lova!!

Oh well done master sanchez!! :P

Yo yo Fifi

Around my area (good old Tyrone - the most happening place in the world :snore:) anyhoo, yes, so Irish is taught in most (perhaps all methinks  ) of the Catholic schools and it's also an option in Intergrated (Catholic & Protestant) schools.

As I went to a Protestant school I never learned, but back in the day my Nana had to when she grew up o'er the border in Dhun na nGall :D She still remembers how to count 1,2,3 in Irish

my family were from donegal but they migrated 150 years ago

^ That's cool Ali... my Mum's family are from Donegal ... maybe our ancestors knew each other :idea2:

lol maybe :idea2: one of my ancestors who went over to glasgow from ireland died in a snow storm driving a horse and cart from glasgow to edinburgh and has a plaque in his honour now lol :idea2:

but 150 years later and we still got the peculiar irish surname that no one can spell/say and the red hair :P

indeed, the pride of our family

i studied the play 'Translations' in Eng Lit this year and it's really insightful! if only i spoke irish though :( can you speak it?
