The dressage coach at the centre of Katie Price and Peter Andre's break-up spent three hours with the model at her house yesterday.

Married Andrew Gould, who insists their friendship is innocent, arrived at Katie's home in Woldingham, Surrey, at 4pm and declined to comment when he left at 7pm.

Mr Gould, who runs a stables in West Sussex, is said to be the source of tension that caused Peter to split with 31-year-old Jordan.

Katie is thought to have returned home for the meeting after going riding with a friend.

 

Meanwhile, Peter, who will officially launch divorce proceedings today, has revealed he has lost a stone in the wake of the split.

Writing in his New! magazine column, the singer told of his joy at meeting with his children yesterday, including Harvey, Katie's son with footballer Dwight Yorke.

 

Peter said: 'I hadn't seen the kids for over a week and it was hell. I missed them so much it actually made me ache inside.

'I spoke to them every day on the phone but it's not the same as seeing them in person and giving them hugs and kisses.

'I couldn't wait to get hold of them and savour every minute.

'I was totally gutted that I didn't get to read them their bedtime stories but we did lots of fun stuff together, like go to the beach and the local pond to feed the ducks.'

The singer is staying with his agent Claire Powell, but is looking for a new home near his children.

'I'm having a rough time, but they are a glimmer of sunshine in my life and always will be,' he said.

 

Peter, who has dashed his wife’s hopes of a reunion by demanding a 'quickie divorce', was spotted viewing a large home in Brighton with their two children Junior, three, and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii.

The singer has declared there is 'no way back' for the couple despite the model's pleas for a second chance.

She is said to have bombarded her estranged husband with text messages during her 31st birthday celebrations over the weekend, but Peter remains adamant the relationship is over.

'As far as Pete is concerned, their marriage is dead and buried. All he cares about is the welfare of the children,' a source told the Mirror.

'Pete wants to get on with things for the sake of his kids and plough through with the divorce - the quicker the better. He doesn't want things to be delayed and turn nastier than they already are. He just wants resolution, again for the sake of the children.

He is said to be angry at Katie's decision to put down a curfew for the children which means he is only able to see them between 11am and 6pm.

And he was upset further on Sunday when plans for a long-awaited reunion with Katie's disabled son Harvey at a family barbecue fell through at the last minute.

Her spokesperson told the Daily Star: 'We don't know why Harvey is not there. We thought it was going to happen.'

Peter spent time with Junior and Princess in Brighton over the weekend while Katie was seen at a riding stable with Mr Gould.

 

The 28-year-old has vehemently denied any relationship with the glamour model after being accused of being the reason for the break-up.

On Saturday, the 36-year-old took his children to Hove Lagoon, accompanied by Ms Powell.

Meanwhile, Katie is set to appear on the Jonathan Ross show this Friday in which she will talk publicly for the first time about her split with Peter.

She will speak about the separation and her hopes for the future, a spokesman for Ross's production company Hotsauce TV said yesterday.

Katie and Peter have not seen each other since their split 16 days ago and have only spoken by phone a handful of times.

Neither do I - but what's happened just gives further weight to the argument that in general, celebrity marriages don't work - and this marriage was about as "celebrity" as they get.;)

Plus you can't really call a on/off model who got famous by mutilating herself with huge fake breasts or a one hit wonder a true celebrity anyway, either way I feel sorry for the kids.

Well "celebrity" just really means famous, which she undoubtedly is, for whatever reason.

However, she definitely isn't a star, as you actually need to have talent to be classed as one of those.
