Chris Martin attended the Anvil screening last night in the East Village of Manhattan last night.

 

 

 

If you haven’t seen Anvil! The Story of Anvil, I highly recommend it. It’s a documentary of the heavy metal band Anvil who, despite tough times and virtual obscurity for over 25 years, continue to rock! This movie is such an inspiration to never give up your dreams, no matter what! I went to an exclusive screening of the film in the East Village in Manhattan with Gail of the awesome blog http://www.worleygig.com. We were fortunate to not only see the documentary, but were treated to a live set by the rockers after the movie was over. If that’s not enough, Chris Martin of the band Coldplay was in attendance and he was gracious enough to pose for a picture with me.

will be seeing Anvil there! My pass will allow me to meet this band, hoping to have a chance to slip in a Chris Martin quip to them:D
