Right, seeing as I got myself a new PC yesterday, I need to move my iTunes music from this PC onto the new one, I want to try and keep the playlists though.

 

My idea was to use the Consolidate Library feature to move them onto an external hard-drive and then do another Consolidate Library to move it from the external hard-drive to the internal hard-drive.

 

Any computer experts out there know of another way to doing it?

When I moved all my music onto my new computer a year ago, I had to just move it piece by piece (put a GB on a flash drive at a time, until I had moved all the files.) I have absolutely no idea how else to do it, sorry.

I recommend SharePod, as my friend also done it and he said it worked great for him. Yami Pod worked great the first 2 times my computer crashed but recently did not work, but still try if Sharepod dosent work

I did it, but lost the play-counts, copied and pasted the folder onto my external hard-drive over to the new computer.
