I'd like to introduce you to my fave new band...Goldheart Assembly..

 

A London based band in the vein of Fleet Foxes..only better :) and rockier :D

 

Although currently unsigned, they have already received much press coverage, including a NME Radar feature and a New Band Of The Day feature on guardian.co.uk .

 

..and are much championed by Mr Steve Lamacq.

 

The single is So Long St Christopher (double A-side with Oh Really) and it's very good - is available on iTunes

 

They were at Glastonbury, and the lovely BBC people filmed some of it...

Boo, still just me loving and championing this band then? They're gonna be huuuge one day, mark my words :P

Goldheart Assembly have spent the summer recording their debut album among the old engines in their drummer's dad's steam train museum in Norfolk. The record will be out very early in 2010.

Hey Mike, yeah, they really seem to have fun on stage :D It's gonna be great at the ICA with the album launch. Do you know anything about the support bands? I need to check them out before hand.
