True Jacko was the king of pop, however he didn't do anything of real musical talent since 1991's Dangerous record, HIStory & Invincible weren't upto his usual high standards. However he changed music more than Coldplay has changed music so in that sense he is better and if you don't count his personal troubles he is better, however his personal stuff can't be overlooked.

 

So Musically it be Jacko, overall it be Coldplay
