This is completely legit, in conjunction with 98.7FM in the LA area. there's 40 tickets available and we have 4, which we're giving away in pairs.

Hey, here's an update (we have to coordinate a lot of things to get this right): at 8thcontinent.com we have 2 passes (they're not really tickets, I've been told, but that seems like semantics) available, and at 98.7fm's site they have two. That's four out of 40 whole available passes, so that's pretty awesome as far as I can tell. Spread the word, get those tickets! I think for 98.7's promo you have to register at their site as a "rockaholic" or something.

I am a bit confused. I know they have a "Capitol Records" performance on July 19. So is the secret gig 98.7 doing apart of that as well or is it going to be a completely different gig? And aren't they giving away two tickets everyday on 98.7 until July 17? I'm never gonna win :( I never win anything!!!

Well, register with Star 98.7 and start listening Monday. I never win anything either, and I won KROQ's Cocktail with Coldplay contest, so I get to meet the band for drinks before their July 19 concert. But if you never try you'll never know ;)

 

They're going to be busy on Sunday, with this "secret performance," the Cocktails with Coldplay promotion and then the concert that night!

Yes, July 19. Lucky you, getting to go to all 5 show. I still really want to go to Chula Vista, only an hour from me, but my husband is rolling his eyes at me for wanting to go to more than just the July 18 and July 19 shows. The Irvine show is only 10 minutes from my house :)

Today is the last day for this unfortunately (July 13, 2009 at 11:59pm). At www.8thcontinent.com there is a contest to win free tickets to a PRIVATE Coldplay concert in Los Angeles at a secret location on Sunday, July 19. I thought other fans would like to know.
