Last night I had the strangest dream. I dreamed that I was 12 years old again, waking up in the top bunk of some bunk beds somewhere; the covers were faded red, and the carpeting was a fuzzy orange; the bunks were wooden & walnut stained; varnished (this was all so vivid!)..

And below me, on the lower bunk was Dick Cheney, dressed in a pin-striped suit, like someone in a gangster outfit! But he was just waking up too - kinda grumpy, but not altogether unfriendly, and though I dislike him intensely, I just couldn't dislike him on a personal level at that moment, and we exchanged a few kind words.. Mr Cheney said that he had to go off to some important meeting, so he left. I got down out of the bunk, and wandered up a winding wooden staircase, past someone on the flight up who was looking out of a window, and then up one full level. This was an attic, with a straw-stuffed mattress on a grey weathered wooden bed, and the plank floor was covered with straw as well. It was warm and airy, and the morning sun was just rising - visible through the window.

As I went down the stairs, back to the platform between levels, I turned to the person looking out the window, and here it was Michael Jackson sitting in a chair! Only, he looked more like Sir Edward Scissorhands, and there were black stitches in his otherwise white lips. He was a ghastly pale color in the moonlight, and he did say something, but he spoke too softly to be heard intelligibly. So, I didn't quite know what to say or feel (awkward moment), and I looked at him briefly before going down back to the room with the bunks. Then I woke up.

That was weird! Anyhow, just thought I would share that..:)

 

...and it was all yellow! Sorry, I guess you didn't really need to know that,lol.

 

So, Chuck. How did it feel to wake up in a room with the biggest DICK in America?:lol:

Yeah. Vancouver's a MESS right now. So is eastern Ontario. I can hardly get out my door, and even if I could, the streets/sidewalks are glare Ice.

Hey, like it's just beautiful here! Yes, the roads are glare ice and it's frickin' cold; my driveway looks like the sands of the Sahara, as I'm sure everyone else's does in Canada as well - but hey, at least it was a sunny day!:sunny: I got to work on some interior trim stuff, and the kids got a day off from school...

Well, it's -24C here, but that can only get colder tonight! I move that we stricken the month on January from the globe, so that we can move on towards warmer weather!! (and cooler weather in Australia!):)

It was only...huh, only,lol...-8 here today,and really sunny too. That made up for the crappy weather the last few days.

 

Eastern Canada's really getting hit hard. They have an ice storm out there that's rivaling the one here 10 years ago. When I remember that, and think about what they're going through right now, I don't feel like complaining anymore.

 

Something you don't already know...and it ties in with the last post...my ex-fiancee's name is Eugene. So seeing the words 'I want Eugene' in print really made me laugh.:laugh3: (In an 'ew' kind of way.)
