Asbo for 14-year-old girl who drank 12 cans of strong lager EVERY NIGHT

Food always tastes best the second time down.

That's... that's just going too far.

I would applaud you for going to lengths that I currently don't want to, but... y'know...

How can any allow this much drink? For me in order to allow 12 [chonservnoy] [banky] of [nocha] I must select it is pocket entire day and entire [nochu]!

This woman is FAT BOUGH, she look like pacman!

That article makes me wonder if she might have fetal alcohol syndrome. Scolding won't do much good when someone was born addicted... especially if she doesn't even know it.

People are always looking for excuses instead of admitting they've screwed up.;)

Screwing up is one thing (and yes she did screw up). Plenty of teenagers screw up with alcohol- she's right on that count. But not like her. Something is very wrong, and if that is the case it needs special medical treatment or she will never cope even if she wants to try. If it was an excuse it would mean you would go on doing the horrible thing you did or pass it off as something minor. If it's a medical condition she needs a doctor and probably a good psychologist so that she will be able to stop.

FAS is a form of brain damage- the sort you don't recover from and the sort you never had any control over to begin with, not just some lame excuse. An piece of paper or whatever an asbo is can't heal a broken leg, and it can't heal a broken mind however hard it tries- they're both physical problems whether you can see them or not.

Then maybe you should tell her to stop smugly posing for newspaper photos and do something about turning her life around.:dozey:

What if that's an older picture?

And I disapprove slagging her off for being overweight. That could be (I'm not saying it is, but COULD BE) a health problem, like reduced function of the thyroid gland.

However, I also disapprove of her drinking that much.
