The Official SAT Thread: How do you study for SAT?

Featured Replies

I guess it's like a really hard exam.

Exactly.

My mom saw a second grader holding an SAT book at the library and she yelled at me. :(

Exactly.

:bigcry:

:bigcry:

You'll be fine Rudy. It's not hard question-wise, just hard in that it's exhausting. The questions are all relatively easy, you just have to focus and make sure you read everything carefully. It's about stamina. If you're crying over the test, you're worrying too much. People always worry way too much.

Exactly.

wow, I understand completely now :bigcry:

lol wut

I'm serious. She then proceeded to take away my iPod and signed me up for a math camp :( not fun.

Wat. Those math questions are a lot easier than I expected.

See? It's much easier than people make it out to be.

Math part is easy, but it's a big headache when it comes to verbal.

I just did the Improving Sentences practice and scored 7/8. Also, the one where I made a mistake was the one where I couldn't decide between two answers.

Identifying sentence errors: 4/8 :shifty:

Improving Paragraphs: 4/4

Yay.

edit: Sentence Completions: 7/9 but I had to use the dictionary.

edit2: Passage-based Reading: in the first example I got 2/4 right, in the second one 4/4.

From what everyone's been saying, it sounds like they're unsatisfactory qualifications...................
