My first thought was that "to doubt" really is "to HAVE doubt", but I'm not really sure. I think, being Swedish and not English or American, stops me from being entirely sure about this. :rolleyes: My second thought was that "to doubt" was sort of in a deeper level than "to hesitate". For instance, "to hesitate in buying a specific item" & "to doubt the existence of God" are situations that are completely different.
