my french knowlegde lowered due to lack of practice, but at least i remember that. ;)

 

i took french at high school as first foreign language, so my level was pretty good (got 8.5/10 on the final exam), i guess that's why my friend asked me for help today.

 

how strange life is, some my friends are yet at high school, others are expecting their 2nd child :freak:

I'm working really hard to be able to converse in French, I will need alotof practice though.

well languages improve with practice ;) speaking, writing and reading.

since how long are you learning french?

well for a while now, but really I only started learning things other than numbers and colors this year. We're already working on making sentences and vocabulary. Soon I can kinda have conversations in french :dance:

my problem was i took a lot of grammar stuff (learnt all the verbes and tenses), but i was poor on vocabulary, and most the last year, as i was the only student :freak: so few chances to practices.

i had to take it 2 years, and i was bad at it, i would like i could had learnt it earlier. :cry: but i liked it, my problem was that i had to learn greek at the same time and i ended mixing both languages at times.

 

@ Crests: as i've said learn a language is a matter of practice and patience, a teacher of mine said "take each grammar field as a brick, you can't construct a wall if you don't have the right bricks for it" ;)

 

so better to learn it separatelly (at times) and then put the pieces in the right order.

 

and i'm sure you can learn a lot at zone française thread ;)
