Will's set

Featured Replies

I was wondering does Will have double bass pedals for Clocks or is he doing that all with one foot? And if he is doing it with one foot how does he do it?! I keep trying to drum to that and my foot gets too tired and I get off beat.

wow..don't know what to say...

wow..don't know what to say...

Then don't say anything :P

I suppose Will just has extreme leg-power :)

He does not have a double kick pedal.....yes my foot does get tired too..but if you a decent pedal anybody can do it...just takes alot of practise.

W0ah... :o He does that without a double kick pedal??? Amazing......

He Drumming God! :D :wink3:

hahaha

course he doesn't use a bass pedal...and it isn't fast At All!

If Will has extreme leg power...he hasn't used it in any songs i've heard of him

(doesn't make him in any way a bad drummer though)

Ok? :/

It's not that hard, just a few 16th notes after eachother, nothing you need a double bass pedal for. Though I do think it's tiring if you do this for 5 minutes or so. :snore:

That is absolutely true, the best drummers are the ones that adapt to the style of the band, and Will does that excellent in my opinion.

Owh and a... Rain. If i might do a suggestion (I'm a drummer for 10 years now):

Try it slow first, and then speed it up gently.

Pace at first is not that important, it's just that you get the technique right, after that you can start playing it faster.

yup wimmulder said it good.

Practice makes perfect!!

Oh, I just figured it out! I got a new really nice used stereo for a (late) christmas present ( the kid left a CD in {System of a down} hatem) It has a really good bass boost and I was listening to clocks when I realized the the bass isn't constantly going, its only going on the off beats of the snare soo its like:

B=bass s=snare

sBBsBBsBsBBsBBsBsBBsBBsB etc etc I thought it was the same for snare except the bass was going on every beat. That would make it a lot harder.
