Stressed with school? :\

 

I'm a little bored, can't wait for uni to start.

Yeah, I had a test today which was actually pretty easy, but I have a paper due tomorrow and a biology lab quiz, and a biology test friday. :dead:

University starts the 19th of October ... :\ The breaks in Germany are way too long. :lol: My last exam was in July ... :lol:

Well, uni works a bit different here I guess. Winter semester starts in October and ends in February, that's when the exams of this semester take place. The summer semester starts in April and ends in July, so the exams of the summer semester take place in July.

Hmm. The semesters here are from the end of August til the middle of December, and from the end of January til the middle of May.

I sometimes feel like we're having more breaks than courses. All in all we have like 6 months without courses ... and we're paying like 700€ for three months of courses ... :(

Yup, it does. But I guess College in USA is still more expensive than that ...

I think my tuition is around 3500 a semester, but most of my grants cover it. A lot of schools are more expensive though.

The problem here is that until 2006 every student had to pay only about 150€ each semester. But some politicians thought it made sense to make the students pay an extra fee of 500€ each semester. :dozey:

Until now we don't really have a working grant or scholarship system ... I'm a very lucky person, because my parents give me the money, but there are lots of students who actually have to work day and night to afford all that ...
