for the first part, it's that there are gazillions of amino acid combinations, which result in different structures of proteins...i think :confused: not sure bout the orange tho :lol:

Amino acids in our book it's represented by triangle, squares and circles.

This is what I've come up with so far...

 

Having a different 3D structure means that the acid will have a different shaped active site.

If the substrate shape doesn't fit the active site, the reaction won't be catalysed.

I'm very good at biology when i study, 100%'s. But it's very easy at the moment.

I think Bology is a very easy subject to understand.

Those are surely going to come up on my course over the next two years.

Because the Leaving Cert in ireland is supposed to be Harder than Alevels.D:

But half of our whole leaving cert course seems useless.

i suck at bio but i like it :lol:

I've never even completely figure out what A levels even are... some sort of test, right?

Lock and Key is wrong though, that's the simplistic version.

Our teacher never thought us that lock and key thing

saying that it was basically wrong,

and it would save time to just learn the more complex enzyme workings instead.

Yeah exactly, it's just to help people understand how it works
