I can't get enough of this album Gorilla Manor, out already in the UK, 16th Feb for a USA release. I know there's at least two other LN fans here & Jazz suggested a thread for them, so here we go...

I went to see them play last week and it was amaaaaazing. :D Especially the encore (Sun Hands extended) was a real highlight.

It pays off to live (relatively) close to Amsterdam. It's still a 5 hour round trip, but I don't mind travelling. :)

They are really great live, the vocal harmonies are amazing.

^ Did you go to Paradiso or Tivoli? I ended up going to Tivoli because I hadn't bothered to buy a ticket for Paradiso. I prefer Paradiso, even though Tivoli is closer and cheaper. :nice:

 

I think I favour the more rocky live sound over the album sound. Though the sound at the gig was a tiny teensy bit crappy. Vocals got drowned. :dozey:

So according to an e-mail I got this morning from iTunes, Local Natives are being included in a free 20 song sampler that U.S. users can download after becoming a fan of iTunes on Facebook. :cheesy:

 

Unfortunately, however, it's exclusive to U.S. users, and unless I'm mistaken, I'm the only American to post in this thread.
