Dr Conrad Murray made his inappropriate visit to Jackson's resting place in Forest Lawn Cemetary in Glendale California in the run up to today's arraignment in Los Angeles. The physician held a posed, sombre look on his face as he sat next to the Great Mausoleum obviously aware he was being photographed. Strained: The late star's personal physician will not be charged today, as originally thought, due to conflict between the District Attorney and the LAPD Pop superstar Michael Jackson passed away in June last year U.S. website TMZ reports that the authorities in Los Angeles have been at odds on how to deal with the doctor's arraignment which cast doubt over when he would be charged. According to law enforcement sources who have spoken to the site, the District Attorney's office and the Los Angeles Police Department had conflicting opinions on how to bring him in. The DA was said to be working with Dr Murray's lawyers for a voluntary surrender while the LAPD wanted to place him under arrest, handcuff him and bring him into court. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that officials from the Los Angeles Police Department, which spent the past seven months investigating Murray, were unhappy with the idea of him surrendering and wanted to arrest him. The official, who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity, says various factors weighed into the desire to arrest Murray, including the possibility he might flee before his arraignment, just as O.J. Simpson did. Doctor Murray, who is accused of administering a deadly dose of sedatives including Propofol to Jackson in the hours before his death on June 25 2009, had been due to surrender to police today at 1.30pm LA time. He is now set to make an appearance on Monday to face charges of involuntary manslaughter.
