Fix You ending.

Does anybody know how to play the ending of Fix You during lives?

Examples:

Right hand chords are :Eb, Fm, Eb/G ,Ab, Eb/G, Fm, Eb, Bb, Eb.

I don't know the actual name of the Eb/G chord, I just labeled it as such because you play an Eb chord with the right hand but a G for the bass note.

Left hand notes: Eb, F, G, Ab, G,F, Eb, Bb, Eb

Here is how the right-hand chords should be fingered as they are played in succession:

These are the ascending chords..

Eb: Bb (just below middle c), Eb, G

Fm: C (middle c), F, Ab

Eb/G: Eb, G, Bb

Ab: Eb, Ab, C

This is where you descend:

Eb/G: Eb, G, Bb

Fm: C (middle c), F, Ab

Eb: Bb (just below middle c), Eb, G

Bb: F (below middle C) Bb, D

Eb: Bb (just below middle c), Eb, G

Sorry if this is confusing, but it is hard to type it out. Just follow the chords/fingerings and play it with the tempo of the song and you should be able to hear it.

Wow, you're great! I didn't try it yet, but thanks that you explained all the chords, because I suck at the chords xD I'm playing by ear and sheet  So thank you soooooo much again.

EDIT: Yeeeaa! That's it, it's great

Thanks!

I know it would sound silly actually but do you know how to play this acoustic version? especially the 'tears stream' part? I tried to play it my way but it's so stupid... and I stuck at the third / forth chord or something. So that's why I ask ya. It's not that I'm too lazy to do it, I tried, and I don't have enough skills it seems, plus as told before, I suck at chords. And I really appreciate that you already helped with the ending.

Sure I can help you out. I don't know exactly what Chris plays in the acoustic version, but I can give the chords I use. I hope this helps.

So the outro/jam part of the song is...

Eb: G, Bb, Eb (you can choose whatever octave you like, but I play these chords starting at the G below middle C. Chris plays it an octave higher than what I play in the acoustic version). For bass notes I just do Eb (octave)

Ab: Ab, (middle) C, Eb. Bass notes : Ab, Eb

Eb: Same as above

Bb?/Bb: I don't know what the first part of this chord is, but it is a Bb something. you play: F, Bb, Eb then you switch the Eb note to a D, making it a regular Bb (F, Bb, D) chord. You can hear this change in any of the versions of the song. For the bass notes for these two chords I just play Bb(octave) for both.

Then you play the same thing again, except with a minor change to the first chord. I believe it's a Cm7 instead of an Eb.

Cm7: You play the same Eb chord as above (G, Bb, Eb) but instead of playing an Eb bass note, you play a G bass note. It's the same after this...

Ab

Eb

Bb?/Bb

Repeat until the song is over.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yep. You're bombastic. I have to fix my piano and then play it all, but on the crappy keyboard it sounded good, so thanks again! You're a really great piano player, and my chords were not that far from yours as I thought :D Thanks.
