What should go first?

Ok, today i was doing some tourism in a near town, while driving we spotted a castle and decided to go visit it.

So the door was open, and then was a small square some small houses and the castle.

some pics i found of the castle on the net:

But the castle owner, came out (when we were not even in the square) with a big bush scissor asking us to leave her 'property', which we did, and she was still moaning at us and complaining.

we are back home now and did some research about the castle.

It was built in 1920, was property of a marquis, which built a castle-home (neo-classic), and now is partly a farm, having a church next to the castle, and currently is yet on aristrocatic hands (although the owner tried to pretend she was a normal poor worker, saying the castle was a 'fancy' home and not a castle, that everyone build their houses as they want).

The woman was complaining that official province tourism institution had included them on the tourism guide, but she consider her home a private property.

According to law here, a building is Historical when it turns 150 years, and so 30% of the building should be able to visit by tourist as is property of the country for the histocal and cultural background

So question is:

what should go first

-the private property

-or the Historical importance

Have you ever had a problem of this kind while doing tourism?

How's the law about it in your country?

Ooh, I'm not sure, wish I could help you. Since she was so defensive about it, I'm guessing that happens quite often. If it should be considered historical, and the "30% rule" applies, how is the 30% determined? Does the owner get to pick which 30%? If so, maybe you were on the other 70% and that's why she was upset. I don't know... good question, though.

Check the historical importance first, trespassing a private property is illegal in most countries.

I think private property should come first.

If someone actually owns and is living on historical property, it should be up to them to decide to allow people to tour their property.

This. Although it looked like a beautiful castle
