around last 10 years here tv is mostly gossiping programmes, (ya know talking about celebs lives), and soap operas... so very few cultural programmes as documentaries, special reports and so, not many worthy self production series.

Local news is funny, as the regions they have developed are massive in area, so it's not really local news at all.
