Boring question but next week is Thanksgiving. I'll no doubt be stuck doing the dishes with the sporadic help of others who drift in and out, and I'm left with piles of pots and pans to dry while relatives and siblings drink wine by the fire and set up board games.

 

Now, my plan is to make them stay and help out the whole time without me directly telling them to. Or, me remaining in a good mood despite if it's only me left in the kitchen with a mountain of plates.

 

Anyway, what is a good playlist to do the dishes to that is not offensive,(young and old milling in the house), something upbeat, peppy, fresh, maybe seasonal and something that would make others be nice and help with the post-thanksgiving feast.

 

I'm thinking along the lines of James Brown, that tune about "dance and you'll feel better". you know, something that will perk them up and not go into a stooper.

 

Any suggestions you have are welcome but please no beatles, no rolling stones or the who.
