Coldplay Hibernation?

Featured Replies

When I get bored from VLV I listen to X&Y. When I get bored from X&Y I listen to A RUSH.... When I finaly get bored from Parachutes I look for B-sides/ unreleased songs on youtube.

So there's no reason for coldplay hibernation.

I guess I went through a bit of a Coldplay hibernation.

I tended to focus all my energies this year on Muse and KoL so I just sort of listened to Coldplay, but they weren't always on my speaker system.

Now though, I've started to bring them back in to circulation. And I can't believe I went through a hibernation period. I missed them

I Honestly think it's healthy for everyone to go through a phase of hibernation because you can discover other great music and when you come back you appreciate coldplay more .

Absolutely.

I listened to Coldplay regularly for a couple of years, and then I got into other music and got bored with them. I haven't listened to them in over a year and don't really care for them much anymore, but maybe my mind will change once they release their next album.

This summer, I came across an awesome Christian/Worship artist - John Mark McMillan - and didn't listen to Coldplay for a good two months. Only until recently had I started to listen to them daily. Their music keeps pulling me back in!
