They did indeed. I find it amusing how butthurt some people have become because of the retaliation, which was obviously going to happen. Yes, Loungers read the Coldplay section!

And just because we're Loungers doesn't mean we hate Coldplay with a passion either. . . they're not my favorite band anymore but I'd still consider myself a fan.

And if the videos are on Youtube, then they should be a little more open to constructive criticism. Just because we mostly post in the Lounge doesn't mean that we are out to get the Coldplay section people. And Reilly or Josh (sorry, I forgot who exactly said it) had some good suggestions (like less jokes, shorter video, etc) that were mostly ignored because (I think) they were some of the people being referred to in the comments made against Loungers.

I'm not sure if you mean them or me, but I haven't hated much on the Coldplay section in some time, so if you mean I'm hating on 'everything' then no, just no.

 

Leave the guy alone... if you don't like the vids THEN DON'T WATCH! No one shoving them down your throat or forcing you to watch.... but for a every hater, there's someone who enjoys them. At least some of us are doing productive things with their time....

I skimmed through one video and gave a constructive opinion which that guy was simply too arrogant to acknowledge, the videos are too fucking long. Like I said in the thread, he's always going to get hardcore Coldplay fans who will watch anything Coldplay related, but with 13mins of blabbering he'll definitely be turning away a lot of people who would watch it if it was more concise.

 

This "IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN WIPE YOUR MEMORY OF IT" attitude is just a big shit, one of my pet peeves, the words of the famous Christ Martin "If you don't like our music then go listen to something else" duuurrr. Or Ian "If you don't like this forum then don't post in it" herp-de-derp. It's such a simple minded way of thinking and people feel it gives them a licence to be immune to criticism if they have such a hard time dealing with it.

 

I wouldn't like to see someone with that attitude life-coaching a suicidal person "IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR LIFE THEN JUMP OUT THAT WINDOW". My point is that there will always be criticism, some of it justified and some of it not, but even if a lot of it isn't then dismissing all of it and lumping it together as "Just those damn haters hating on everything" is so arrogant, as if his videos are perfection and anyone who thinks anything remotely otherwise is just a hater end of story.

 

why should you even care that the videos are long, short, bad, or good?! Why? No one is making them with YOU in mind.... they are making them with the FAN in mind... and if you're not a fan.... you're not. Period. Just stop ruining it for everyone else...

I don't really care that much, do you spend 100% of your time doing something incredibly productive (Like posting in this thread) or like me, often find yourself looking at stupid shit on youtube. I thought seeing as he was asking for constructive criticism, I'd give some.
