Congratulations on the wedding Kels, but will there be old people there? Because they ruin everything. Play 99% of the songs mentioned and you'll have a dance floor of younger people surrounded by dull faces grumbling about the lost generation.

Most of the old fogies leave shortly after the cake is served anyway, so your point is moot. Some of them might stay for the newlyweds' first dance, but that's about it.

Ha, unless you're up for Greg's orgy or joining everyone else in learning to spell my name right.... haha....I would love any more suggestions. As I said, i have a couple of hours worth of time to kill during the reception I will still need music for :) Please, contribute ! And thank you !

Oh, did I spell your name wrong? I'm terribly sorry! I'm used to spelling it that way on CPing because that's how Kelsie's (ceolsige's) name is spelled. I'll remember that you're -ey and she is -ie.

Anyway, in terms of heartfelt songs, I always thought this one was cute:

Everything - Michael Buble

The first time I heard it was when I was helping with catering at a wedding, and I remember being super jealous :P

^ That's actually what one of my best friends and her boyfriend picked as "their song." When I heard about that, I thought it was super cute. :wacky:
