January 20, 200917 yr Damn you Terra Firma! On the other hand, I prefer this idea to last year's Best Of compilation. There are a couple of odd live tracks on these, which I don't have yet. And the DVD's are cool to have.

January 21, 200917 yr gosh, i haven't been on here in ages! any major radiohead news i've missed over the past 3 or so months? I'm glad atease is back...the news wasn't being updated for a few months and I felt like such a bad fan cause I had no idea what was going on with them for a while..

January 21, 200917 yr i think i'm in that aren't i? yep. we just need more people. not enough know about the genius of that man
January 21, 200917 yr oh man, what i would give to meet him!! I said a few pages ago I would love to read an intimate biography if someone ever made one. To know how that man thinks. by the way, aren't you a recent radiohead convert? I've been a fan for a little over a year now. Depending on the day, either Radiohead or Coldplay are my favorite band. But when I am a Radiohead fan I tend to despise Coldplay music and vice versa. Like for the past week or so I've been listening to OK Computer constantly. If I put on Coldplay, I'd get bored quickly.
January 21, 200917 yr ooh, it's funny you say that because that's how I felt for a few days in between my obession with Coldplay that lasted two months and my obsession with Radiohead that's lasted a bit over two years. Interesting to see how your opinion will keep changing.... and yeah, OKC is one of the albums that I can just keep listening to over and over and over and never ever get tired of it. In fact, I don't think there's another album I can say that about. Every time I hear it, there's something new...

In fact, I don't think there's another album I can say that about. Every time I hear it, there's something new... It's really an interesting balance for me. Coldplay makes me happy, gives me hope, and kind of reminds me to act decent. Radiohead can depress and uplift me at the same time. When I am angry, I can't listen to Coldplay, so I listen to Radiohead. Radiohead reminds me that it's okay to be angry, that the world isn't perfect, and that you have to deal with it however you can. So depending on my mood, that will be the band I listen to. I really couldn't have one without the other. I just had my first Kid A obsession like a month ago (a little after I got the album). Then for a few weeks it was all In Rainbows. Now I'm on OK Computer.
January 21, 200917 yr when i have kid A obsessions... i literally wonder how human beings even created such a good album. i love all of their other albums but my obsessions for the others can never be as strong as kid A. i dunno what it is.

I still have not even had the album for more than 3 or 4 months, so it still hasn't fully sunk in. I've had OK Computer for more than a year and it's just now starting to really sink in all the way. I always loved it, but now I am starting to become addicted toe very second of the album.
January 21, 200917 yr when i have kid A obsessions... i literally wonder how human beings even created such a good album. i love all of their other albums but my obsessions for the others can never be as strong as kid A. i dunno what it is. exactly. I personally cannot find words to describe the brilliance of this album...it's unexplainable. *sigh*
January 21, 200917 yr I've never really went gah gah over that song. I guess I just like other stuff on the Bends alot more.
January 21, 200917 yr I've been on a little Amnesiac kick the past few days. I only got it at Christmas, but I am finding it hard to be that impressed by Amnesiac. It's a good album sure, but I just can't get that into it. Then again, I once felt the same about Kid A, so I'll probably warm up to it.
January 21, 200917 yr ^ I usually listen to it in the darkness of my room. Pyramid Song takes me to another place. There are some weak tracks on it for sure. But I just love stuff like Knives Out, I Might Be Wrong, etc.
January 21, 200917 yr yeahh as a whole amnesiac isnt as strong to me but there are some ridiculously good songs on it. definately the three you mentioned along with life in a glass house and you and whose army is one of my all time favorites. they played i might be wrong for the first time in awhile at their concert in MA over the summer and it was crazy good.
January 21, 200917 yr What's best on Kid A? I personally say Idioteque and How to Disappear Completely are the absolute best, but the whole album is ridiculous
