  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

I really want to see them but the tickets are around $140 + the plane tickets and hotel room i'll probably have to spend more than 1,500 bucks and i'm kinda broke so i'm thinking about selling my beloved guitar just to see them otherwise i'm gonna hate myself forever :bigcry:

And my old addiction is back! I've been listening radiohead the whole friggin' day! All the albums and know the atease compilation of b-sides, towering above the rest haha :P

That's expensive! :o I mean, it would be more reasonable if they lowered the prices. They haven't been to the continent yet, people are craving to see them and yet they make it difficult for them to buy the tickets. I hope you'll find a way to go to the concert! :nice: I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Yeah i know :bigcry: The tickets are very expensive but that's the least of my worries compared to the plane tickets and hotel and transportation :disappointed: If they had only added another date here, i wouldn't mind paying even $200 for the gig and i'd saved like $1,300 , damn! :(

I'm gonna have to sell my baby to get fast cash but i really don't want to :bigcry:

*hugs guitar*

Awww Ren  What if you found a job with a good payment? And worked really hard?

haha i actually have a nice job with good payment but i'm still paying quotes to the bank for my last trip to see muse abroad:lol:

But i'll come up with something, i hope :o

I'm gonna be so sad if i don't get to see them :bigcry:

You will :nice: Don't worry too much. And if you sell the guitar, you can still buy one afterwards (though it wouldn't be the same :\)

I'm really so addicted that i wouldn't regret selling my baby, ok maybe at nights when i don't have a super sexy guitar to hug but still :P

No i can't :bigcry:

I'm gonna have to find another way :disappointed: Anyone need a stripper here?

So what? Are we not allowed to talk about things from a year ago?

Stupid fanboys!

GUESS WHAT!!! RADIOHEAD IS RELEASING AN ALBUM PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT

on October 10, 2007!!!!

You must see them... it is worth every dollar! Maybe you can wash cars in a sexy swimwear! :wink3:

Damn, its like i'm 15 again and i'm totally addicted to them like you have no idea! I woke up listening Kid A and now ok computer and every single songs is sending shivers down my spine and if i don't see them, i'm gonna feel dead inside :disappointed:

I want to see them so bad too Ren. Although its more realistic for you right now.

I was working all summer at a camp when they were in Canada so I couldn't get away :(

You seriously need to see them live. I was fortunate enough to see them twice this past summer (All Points West Festival and Camden, NJ) and they were both one of the best concerts I've been to. It's totally worth seeing them regardless the price... well at least for me.

yeah, you have to see them. sell something or get an extra job for few days. they're better than muse ;)

haha i can't put them in the same category with muse cos they're completely different styles but i really want to see them and i don't really care about the price so yeah i might get an extra job just for that. I've been a radioheader for almost 14 years and never had the chance to see them cos i was in school and then college and then work and they were always playing abroad and not even close to where i live so i really don't want this unique chance to see them go :bigcry:

ah briggs sorry to hear about that :( But have you see them before? Don't tell me, i'm gonna get too jealous :disappointed:

And offtopic now but last night i was listening piramid song alone in my room with the lights off and it was surreal ahhhhh

I want to see Radiohead again.

Maybe not in the same week as Glastonbury though ;)

are they doing Glastonbury for sure?

cuz I might go if I can

I doubt it this year.

Maybe in 2010.

I doubt it this year.

Maybe in 2010.

well then that's when I'll go

imagine Coldplay and Radiohead doing it in the same year:wacko:

But then again, you don't go to Glastonbury for the headliners, you go for the experience.

Although rumours are that the headliners for this year are getting officially announced in the next couple weeks

I must say that 2008 was the best year for me ... saw RH on opening tour night here in W. Palm, FL and next night in Tampa... met some great fans first night and one of them bought ticket for Tampa next day and joined me at that show. We have stayed friends ever since and have exchanged some bootlegs DVD's. Then I flew up to Camden to see them one more time with a guitar player friend who never saw them and he was so blown away... made even a more awesome night! Then came CP here in FL ... 2 nights of them! And met some great people from this board! And also the FooFighters to round it out. Yes, it was an outstanding year. Wishes That RH was playing somewhere in UK when I come to Wembley in September... well, that's wishful thinking... cause I love these guys music just too much!
