Well, my aunt had to put her dog down, and they've had the dog for a long time. It's kind of sad because I'm afraid for my dog now, and I know I shouldn't, but . . . I don't know.

Awww, that is sad :hug: At least she had a long life, right?

 

And I'm sure your dog will be fine, Julia--I mean, just try not to worry about it too much. :hug: He's (she's?) smart enough to keep out of things that could hurt him/her, I would guess.

She, and no, Meeka's been hit by a car before an now has arthritis so . . . she's got a lame leg and still is kinda clueless

Oh . . . well maybe she's learned her lesson by now? (I love her name :wacky:)

 

And (this is going to sound bad anyway I say it, sorry!) maybe her having arthritis will help keep her out of trouble? Our dog, Pawley, has a tendon problem in her back leg and when it hurts, she doesn't move. At all. Maybe Meeka is the same way?

Thanks, and yeah, Meeka kinda favors her leg and limps if it hurts, then goes over to her pillow and lays down.
