^So what inspired you? I'm really curious :P

I got the inspiration for that song while I was reading an article about a soldier who died in Afghanistan, that's why the lyrics are quite apocaliptic.

Oh, and I removed them too BTW

You see, there really is a meaning then. :wacky:

Teach Me was written on the 22nd October 2010 - my mother's birthday. But unfortunately, when I got home from school on that day with a present for her, I realized that she's not at home. She got a pretty bad disease on her birthday, so my father took her to hospital. Doctors didn't know what she had so we were all worried a lot. That night, I have written two songs - "Teach Me" and "Cold", both were quite inspired with this occasion, but also with the album's concept. She was in hospital for a week, but it was not getting better. Finally, they realized it was just a bad type of pneumonia so she got very well soon. :)

Oh, that's really a sad story but I'm glad that everything went well.

I like to see how ideas for songs come out from every day (both happy and sad) episodes of our lives :)

When you have good inspiration, the lyrics are just flowing in! :)

^yeah, that's true! :awesome:

Inspiration sometimes comes from places you'd neve expect: for example I once wrote a song ("Lost In Time") while solving some algebra equations :|

i miss writing poetry as i used to some years ago, oh well now i moved to novels, or at least i'm into it.

are you sharing them SpaceMrk and Alien Radio?

^^lol, that's weird

If with sharing you mean just showing each other their own song lyrics, yes :)

We removed them in our earlier because someone could copy them.

Yeah, I play mainly guitar, but also drums and piano. :) My songs are musicaly arranged. :)

I play piano but I'm learning guitar too.

i'm yet learning guitar, and time ago i used to play keyboard, when i was a lot younger but was self-taught, also was in school choir, but long long ago. those were good times.

so you want to study something related to music or form a band or something?

I prefer to use the Bob Dylan method to write music (writing the lyrics before and then singing them on a melody/musical base) because I'm more confortable with it.

No, I just want to write my own songs and having fun playng/writing music.

If I become successful ( well, there are very few possibilities actually :P), that's another story...

i tried that method two years ago, and i ended making lots of variations and improvisations from one day to another. on keyboards wasn't the same but back then i just wanted to play melodies not caring about any lyrics. it was fun when i had the chance to play drums, i think i may be better on that instrument or bass, but drums is quite hard to play in a block of flats, too noisy.

good luck on it, and you are right most important is to have fun. :D

Yes, me too. :)

I want to form a band, but I don't know with whom. :\

But in the meantime, I'll be recording solo. :)

Good luck with becoming successful! xD :)

My friends say that both anthemic "Teach Me" and "Golden Heart" are instant hits. :p :)

I would totally be in a band.

It seems that you'd form awesome bonds with each other if you did...

Sadly, I don't play any cool instruments :(

I REALLY want to play the guitar though... just have to find some inexpensive lessons. :D

As of today I'm in a proper band, no more floating about stuff. As for songwriting I usually just come up with some chords that sound cool, them hum a melody and eventually replace it with words.

I'm not a natural musician, so it would take me ages to come up with anything. :P

And my voice...kinda sucks. Although I am in my school's chorale.
