I dunno if anyone knew this but the Clocks cd cover is a portrayal of our very own MR Christopher Martin

 

 

 

The video was directed by Dominic Leung at London Dockland’s Excel

Building. The extras in the video were students from local colleges.

Dominic has directed videos by Shawn Lee and Capitol K as well as Badly

Drawn Boy under the name Hammer & Tongs with 2 fellow directors.

The artwork, as with the album and previous singles, is by Solve Sundsbo

and the image is a portrayal of Chris.

yeah i thought it was his hands on top of his head but I read somewhere that its a portrait looking up from his rib cage :/

This is the most straight forward portrait of all the sleeves. Guys face is to the left, with his hair refracting light from the scan which is represented by the large number of spikes in the middle and right side of the image.

A portrait of Jons face with his hair refracting the like to produce`spikes` in the top half of the image

An image taken over Wills left shoulder across his neck, with his head tilted down(you can clearly see the edge of his t-shirt he was wearing during the scan

And this is Chris`s

 

The portrait has been taken from a perspective looking up from Chris`s ribcage, through his shoulders with his face very foreshortened to the left of the image, but you can just see his nose and chin to the left of the picture.

I can't really see that the images are of the members of the band :/

i can`t see wills or chris`s but i can see Guys and Jonnys now iv read about it :smug:

guy's is the most obvious like it says. it's a cool perspective. :cool:

I can sort of see that it is Jon and Guy ofn the covers but I would have never have guess that it was Chis and Will on the other two covers.

Best concept for single covers ever!
