okay there is this thing that is plugged into my computer that my brother can plug into his guitar so he can record stuff and have it played through the speakers. right now it's plugged into the computer but not his guitar or anything. when it touches my hand or any part of my skin there is this buzzing noise. but not when it touches anything else.

anyone know a reason for this?

No clue. :stunned:

according to my dad, skin is a conductor. :/

so...

i watched something once where these kids were holding hands in a big circle. through all their hands they kept a battery powering a potato clock. everytime one of them let go of each others hand the clock would stop.

the current flowed through each kids hand.

hope that made sense.

see how bored i am i looked up the show i watched.

anyone know a reason for this?

Yes the body is a conductor and creates bio-electricity which makes interference in the little amp plug thing and the speakers pick it up.

i loved playing with this static generator we had in my highschool physics class, wed all touch fingers in one long circle, one person would hold the generator, the person on the other end would touch stuff, everytime he did wed all get shocked, and if one person let go everyone on the generator side got shocked. there was this guy in my class who would always fall asleep, so my teacher turned it on one time and held a rod from it to the guys ear and shocked him, he jumped about 3 feet, it was hilarious! i love electricity :D

Zoom is a childrens show - You know kind of like Sesame Street, but with real people where they teach you stuff. They're ALL kids on the show. It's a good show for kiddies to watch. Educational.
