Roadie#42 just said that the band were sent some 'files' over the internet to work on in the Soundcheck. He said it wouldn't be in the set for a good while but until they've written it all and recorded it all, it'll have a good chance.

In Rotterdam, some volunteers of Oxfam Novib asked to make a photo of us to support Oxfam. We had to give our (my :P) emailadress, and in return Coldplay would send us some 'backstage-recorded songs'. I guess it's the same as R#42 is talking about? Haven't received anything yet though..

Came home yesterday after an amazing trip to Berlin.

The concert was overwhelming - the band really wanted to give us an unforgettable experience, and we really did have that!

Paradise surprised me - fantastic livesong.

But Christmas Lights was somehow the peak of the evening. I didn't expect it to come after they had played White Christmas, but as Fix You and Clocks were played before the encore, I realized that something was different. I hoped that they would play both CL and DLIBYH in the encore.. A bit naive, but still :)

 

Emeli Sande was a really nice warm-up, I think. I had not heard that much of her songs in advance, but she was definetely impressing to hear. What a voice!!

 

All in all, an absolutely amazing night.

Christmas Lights <3 it was amazing... And i was there with the elphant head of Paradise :)

 

I took a photo with you at the end of the concert, with a black I <3 New York hoodie :D

 

My review and impressions will come by the end of the day.
